Directed Study 3 Nephi 23-30 Option #2 The Final Judgement Search the following verses for what we can learn about the Final Judgement from the Savior’s teachings to the Nephites: 3 Nephi 26:3-5; 3 Nephi 27:13-20, 21-27; 3 Nephi 30:1-2 - Discuss who will judge, and how we will be judged. Through these verses we know that we will all stand before God in the last days and be judged based on the decisions we make here in our earthly life. 3 Nephi 26:4 states “ And even unto the great and last day, when all people, and all kindreds, and nations and tongues shall stand before God, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil”. But we also know that as stated in 3 Nephi 27:19 no unclean thing can enter into the kingdom of heaven, therefore we must be clean and we can do this through being forgiven of our sins through Jesus Christ and His Atonement. - How should it change our approach to life, knowing that our lives will be judged by our Savior? While we know that through repentance we can be made clean through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, however, we much not use that as an excuse to do whatever we want. We must do our best now to be able to live with Him again. We do not want to have to repent in the last days as we know what we need to do now, and must do what we know to be true.
