Question 1 A potential factor that might influence the occurrence of a typical childbirth is a previous history of caesarian section. This diminishes the likelihood of a natural childbirth. Having several pregnancies, particularly at an advanced age, might potentially impact the process of giving birth. An extended gestation length and the presence of pregnancy-related complications such as hypertension and diabetes might impact the process of childbirth. Some women may experience a lack of monitoring during labor, which is considered typical. Women residing outside big urban areas have a higher likelihood of experiencing a normal labor, as stated by Gould (2002). They may also have adverse effects due to their unrestricted mobility during pregnancy. They may also be impacted due to receiving uninterrupted care throughout delivery and labor or being exposed to a non-supine posture during labor. Question 2 During a breech birth, it is recommended for the midwife to propose an external cephalic version to the patient starting from week 37. This should be done in the absence of contraindications. Additionally, they need to do an Elective Caesarian section. This procedure should be performed on a singleton fetus in order to prevent neonatal and prenatal fatalities. The lady should be informed that a caesarian section is associated with an increased risk of future difficulties. This encompasses the occurrence of several cesarean sections and the presence of invasive placentation. The mother should be advised that there are little difficulties associated with a normal vaginal delivery. Question 3: The three positions being referred to are occiput-posterior (OP), left-occiput transfer (LOT), and left occiput anterior (LOA). Question 4 The vagina has elevated temperature and lacks moisture during this time.
The vulva may be partly or completely expanded. The condition may exhibit edema and may seem drooping.Citations Gould, D. (2000). An study of the idea of normal labor. The citation is from the Journal of Advanced Nursing, volume 31, issue 2, pages 418-427.
