2 Professionalism Professionalism can be exhibited in multiple ways when being a part of a team. Some of the factors to be considered when interacting in a team include expressed behaviors, respect, and standards. Professionalism combines the features that reflect the lenience of the association. It can be labeled as the establishment of a nursing distinctiveness taking on the standards of altruism, compassion, humility, caring, humanity, integrity, inclusivity, courage, advocacy, autonomy, and social justice (Metersky et al., 2022). Communication techniques can be applied as a basis for the attitude of professionalism. Effective communication can eradicate feelings of dismissal and doubt in a group, which will improve the performance of the team. Team members will have the capability of identifying the strengths of each member. Organization-Level Strategy The team can be affected in a dysfunctional way by power imbalance. Power distribution can lead to the dismissal of concerns and ideas. Fears of ineffective responses or rejection may make team members reluctant to communicate with the team. Creating a collaborative approach to team meetings can be an effective strategy that can be applied in this instance (Schilling et al., 2022). The individual controlling the minutes and introductions of the team conference may include verbiage that imitates the values behaviors counting prospects. Individual-Level Strategy Typically, interprofessional lineups are made of high-degree holders as well as higher managers who in their careers have been heartened to establish a positive character filled with vision plus ideas. The strength for overcoming planning barriers can be a variety of perspectives. Interprofessional team function can be supported through an individual-level strategy by being
3 aware of your responsibilities and duties. Being responsible for your space of exercise can be very essential when affiliating with other associates. Effective communication is apparent when this approach is applied on a personal basis (Metersky et al., 2022).
