2 Capstone Change Project Resources The strategic plan is to improve quality of treatment offered to patients, which will be achieved through increasing number of nurses in health facility. Following resources are needed; Recruitment and retention programs – there should be programs such as mentorship, signing bonuses and other incentives that will attract potential applicants. Education and training – the facility should establish programs that will help in equipping nurses with adequate skills and knowledge to be able to handle different health situations. Staffing models – the health facility should work on improving nurse-patient ratios and models that support nursing practice. Supportive work environments – the facility should ensure that there necessary resources that support nursing practice such as paid time off and flexible scheduling.
