Hi Helene, Thank you for your post for this week discussion part two. Your discussion is well organized and engaged all the necessary answers to questions regarding clinical practice guidelines. As noted within your discussion, the purpose of clinical guidelines is to guarantee that patients receive the right care and treatment. Guidelines constitute a component of an evidence-based practice tool that, when converted into practice recommendations, can enhance patient outcomes and the process of care meticulously synthesized by skilled clinicians (Pereira et al., 2022). Increased guideline adherence has been linked to better outcomes in patients with different illnesses and reduced morbidity or mortality. The five sources for clinical guidelines are
very resourceful and I particularly use them as well. As noted in your discussion, the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) provides evidence-based tools for family medicine to treat important disease processes and medical concerns. You utilized the example of urinary tract
infection treatment and management. Women are more susceptible to urinary tract infection. According to the AAFP, treating a symptomatic UTI is the primary objective of therapy with guidelines that should be used for empirical antibiotic treatment (Ebell, 2022). Ultimately, clinical practice guidelines provide detailed recommendations on how to care for patients with specific medical conditions. References

In this assessment task, you will demonstrate your ability to identify a practice issue that requires an evidence-informed approach, develop a related clinical question, and search for evidence that may be used to answer this question. You will use this evidence, and the feedback from this assessment task, to inform and underpin the final assessment task, your research presentation.
Instructions
Identifies a topic that requires an evidencebased approach, and justifies its importance to nursing or healthcare practice
Develop a searchable clinical question using an appropriate framework (question formula)
Demonstrates the ability to locate research relevant to the topic, using a well-constructed search strategy; four articles identified.
Include a screenshot of the search history from your database searches as an appendix to your report.
The question and the articles you find to address this will form the basis for your second assessment task. (1000 words, +-10%)

During the implementation phase, Nurse Althea, recognizes the importance of reflective practice in widening her expertise in family health care. In reflecting on her action, what would be the possible questions that nurse should ask herself?
How is the family responding to the experience?
How do I feel about what happened?
How did my actions match my beliefs and actions?
What other possible actions can l pursue to improve on my understanding of the client's situation?

The importance of developing a therapeutic nurse-patient relationship prior to physical examination was discussed in this week’s readings. Several primary objectives for developing this relationship were covered. Considering these, please address the following prompts in your discussion: Please introduce yourself and talk about the assessment priorities in your workplace. state a strategy for developing a therapeutic relationship and explain how you implement this strategy in your practice.

Hello! Can you please help me with this assignment?
As the nursing home supervisor, you recognize the need for a process improvement plan based on this data. After speaking to your staff about best practices related to care of the immobilized client, you discover your facility has not been stocking skin barrier cream, and the UAPs have not been repositioning the residents per policy. Instead of taking disciplinary action against the staff at this time, you elect to implement an intensive education effort for the entire facility. RNs, LPNs, and UAPs will attend the same training.
Research and devise a comprehensive education plan to address the frequency of pressure injuries at your facility. The teaching plan should include, at a minimum:
The proper use of barrier cream (How and when is it applied? Who can apply it?)
A minimum of 6 specific complications of immobility (Do not list 'respiratory complications'. Be specific).
A minimum of 6 interventions to prevent the complications…

Part 1- In 2005, Meleis and Dracup argued against the doctorate of nursing practice. Are their arguments still valid today? Choose two of the cases that they make in opposition to the advancement of a DNP for advanced practice nurses and discuss whether or not each of these arguments is still valid today. Provide rationales (with APA citations) to defend your stance in each of these cases.
Part 2- Do you personally plan to advance your education beyond a Master's degree? Post your response and rationale for this decision.

Northcross General Hospital just hired Emily as its new Quality Improvement/Evidence-Based Practice Director. To improve outcomes at the hospital, the administrators have asked Emily to establish the biggest issues facing patient care practices, research ways for improvement, and create a plan of action to apply improved practices. After performing many chart audits, Emily has found that the patients of Northcross General Hospital are slow to heal pressure ulcers, and she has found inconsistency in the way that the nurses are charting and performing dressing changes to these wounds. She has established that outcomes for pressure ulcer wound healing could be improved through using best practices.
Questions:
What is Emily’s next step of action?
Where will Emily find the information regarding evidence-based decision-making in order to find the best practice for healing pressure ulcers?

Hello,
Can you please help me with this question? (If it can be short answer, I would appreciate).
Person-centered care allows patients to make informed decisions about their treatment and well-being. They have a team of primary care providers, specialists, and other health care providers who know them, listen to them, and are accountable for their care. Doctors and other healthcare professionals who provide person-centered care help patients manage their health care by providing tools and services that align with their patients’ preferences and values so they can reach their health goals" (CMS.gov, n.d., para 3). Do you believe person-centered care is possible when a client is living below the poverty line and prioritizing resources as in the 'Spent' simulation? Why or why not? You might consider access to healthcare and cost of insurance or care in your answer.

The second nurse manager, Mrs. Turner, was also cheerful and talkative. This is a 1000 (+ or − 10%) word case study which is based upon an aspect of care that you
have completed in practice.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Under supervision, begin to develop basic competence skills in assessment, and
the safe delivery of foundational practice.
2. Develop the skills required to demonstrate self-management in a variety of
settings.
Through the case study, acknowledgement of the important elements of patient care, as
well as building on one's knowledge base can be demonstrated.
** This in not a reflective piece of work it is an opportunity to link evidenced based to
your practice experience**
Basically, why do we what we do?
What is an ASPECT of care?
It is an intervention, providing care to a patient.
For example, you may choose to write about an episode of personal care.
Other examples could be:
Completing observations.
Administering medication under supervision.
Wound dressing.
Completing clinical observations.
Completing admission paperwork.
Assisting a patient at…
