A-1 ABSTRACT 1 Title: Venturi Apparatus Date: Author: Lab partners: N/A Class, Section & Lab group: This experiment aimed to investigate pressure and velocity changes in a tube with varying radius, with the purpose of understanding Bernoulli’s principle. The procedure involved aligning the rotary motion sensor over the reservoir and conducting tests to ensure proper functioning. Data collection involved recording pressure measurements from multiple sensors (#1, #2, #3, #4) and velocity measurements over time. Table 1 presents the collected and calculated data, including the average pressure values (e.g., Pressure #1: 99.54 kPa), standard deviations (e.g., SD = 0.0173), and the corresponding velocity values (e.g., Velocity: 0.009 m/s). Analysis revealed that Pressure #1 and #3 reflected the velocity in the wider areas of the tube, while Pressure #2 and #4, the pressure sensors associated with the narrow channels represented the constricted velocities. These numerical values provide quantitative evidence supporting the observed relationships between pressure and velocity. The statistical analysis confirmed the consistency and reliability of the measured data.
