Project 2: Curriculum Development
The South Panola School District uses a district program pacing guide, just like all other public educational institutions in the state. The schedule for Mississippi standards assessments is provided in the pacing guide. The Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards for English Language Arts Scaffolding Document was examined after I finished reading the eighth grade English/Language Arts pacing guide. The ninth-grade English/Language Arts curriculum is based on the collaboration between the scaffolding document and the pacing guide. Every standard is listed in the scaffolding document along with the necessary foundational information,
comprehension of concepts, and proof of expertise for each standard. There are also lists of terms
for every standard. I spoke with Mr. Odom, my principal, about my observations after looking over the English/Language Arts curriculum guide for the ninth grade. Mr. Odom talked about how curricular plans for every grade level are made using the scaffolding documentation and pacing guide. He also talked about how curriculum guides are supported by educators using the pacing guidelines found in iReady workbooks. In order to tackle rigorous methods, Mr. Odom emphasized the significance of utilizing the scaffolding documentation and the pacing guide.
I am confident that as a new administrator, my experience with the scaffolding documentation and the pacing guide will be useful in figuring out how to manage developing the curriculum or analysis. I can utilize the pacing guide to ensure that my instructors cover the specified standards at the appropriate speed. The scaffolding document's components can be utilized to create educational goals and ensure that student learning is being addressed and evaluated throughout the curriculum.

FINALS ASSIGNMENT IN ME 3215
COMBUSTION ENGINEERING
PROBLEM 1:
A Diesel engine overcome a friction of 200 HP and delivers 1000 BHP. Air consumption is 90 kg per minute.
The Air/fuel ratio is 15 to 1. Find the following:
1. Indicated horsepower
2. The Mechanical efficiency
3. The Brake Specific Fuel Consumption
PROBLEM 2:
The brake thermal efficiency of a diesel engine is 30 percent. If the air to fuel ratio by weight is 20 and the
calorific value of the fuel used is 41800 kJ/kg, what brake mean effective pressure may be expected at
S.P. conditions (Standard Temperature and pressure means 15.6°C and 101.325 kPa, respectively)?

Case Study – The New Engineer
Jeff was just hired by GSI, Inc. to be their Environmental and Safety Coordinator. This is Jeff's first position after completing his engineering degree. He had taken a course in safety engineering as part of his studies and felt confident that he could handle the job.
Management at GSI, Inc. has assured him that they are committed to maintaining a safe workplace. They have never had an individual dedicated to this task full-time. They will implement his recommendations if he can justify them.
As Jeff begins to get familiar with the operations, he spends considerable time on the production floor. He notices workers clean their tools before break with a liquid from an unmarked 55-gallon drum. They also use this liquid to clean residue from their skin. They use paper towels to dry their tools and hands, throw these towels in the trash, and head to the break room for a snack and/or smoke.
In talking with the workers, Jeff learns of some of…

Please double check before rejecting this question. If it needs to be rejected, please explain why as I cannot see how this is a breach of the honor code.
This is a questions from the previous year's exam at my university in Engineering Science. I have submitted a solution given to us for study purposes as proof that I will not be graded on this assessment.
In this solution, the formula (2gh)1/2 is used to find the solution, but I am on familliar with Bernoulli's Principle (P=1/2pv^2+pgh), and I was not able to find a solution using this. My solution incurred an error when I found that I had two unkown variables left that I could not break down in any meaningful way. (Velocity being the desired variable, Pressure being the problematic variable). Pressure = Force x Area, but I don't know enough about the dimensions of the tank or tap to be able to understand this.
Thank you for your help.

TRUE OR FALSE Directions: Choose true is the statement is correct, otherwise choose false. 1. Literature is not related to a certain region’s culture, tradition, history and people.
2. All written, oral, and multimedia forms of work are considered literature.
3. Poetry commonly utilizes rhymes and figures of speech while prose uses formal sentence structures.
4. Drama is delivered on a theatrical stage with actors and actresses.
5. Fictional works have the same elements of non-fictional works.
6. Facts, information, and statistics are focused on non-fictional works.

Question 2
You are a biomedical engineer working for a small orthopaedic firm that fabricates rectangular shaped fracture
fixation plates from titanium alloy (model = "Ti Fix-It") materials. A recent clinical report documents some problems with the plates
implanted into fractured limbs. Specifically, some plates have become permanently bent while patients are in rehab and doing partial
weight bearing activities.
Your boss asks you to review the technical report that was generated by the previous test engineer (whose job you now have!) and used to
verify the design. The brief report states the following... "Ti Fix-It plates were manufactured from Ti-6Al-4V (grade 5) and machined into
solid 150 mm long beams with a 4 mm thick and 15 mm wide cross section. Each Ti Fix-It plate was loaded in equilibrium in a 4-point bending
test (set-up configuration is provided in drawing below), with an applied load of 1000N. The maximum stress in this set-up was less than the
yield stress for the…
