For the same information as above, what is the load in the dynamic fast line? 5. The nominal strength of the 1 1/8" drilling line on the rig is 130,000lb. With a safety factor of 3.5 is the drilling line sufficient for the drill string in question 2? 6. Calculate the static weight on the derrick. 7. What will be the derrick load during lifting and lowering the drillstring? 8. What is the hoisting horsepower needed to lift the drill string in Q1 with a hook velocity of 115 ft/min? 9. Calculate the substructure load for the well in questions 1 and 2 (Assume the setback load to be 25000 lb).
