The histogram population pyramid depicts the distribution of the amount of time allocated to studying mathematics or doing homework by female and male students during a typical school week. The histogram displays the absolute count of girls and boys, as well as the distribution of hours spent studying in a school week, ranging from zero to nine hours. The Population pyramid displays eight distinct groups representing the amount of time pupils spend, the Histogram categorized the time intervals for better visual comprehension as follows: zero time; less than 30 minutes; 30 minutes to 1 hour; 1 to 2 hours; 2 to 3 hours; 4 to 6 hours; 7 to 9 hours; and more than 9 hours. In the T1 Socio-economic status composite, shows the male and females mean variable, which means the population is 2275 female students and 2290 male students that were included, the students that didn’t answer were missing, non-response, mark

Based on the findings, a larger proportion of guys allocate less than 30 minutes or no time at all to studying or doing math homework. Female individuals allocate between 1.5 and 9 hours to engage in studying or completing mathematical assignments. Nevertheless, under the category of durations over nine hours, the graph indicates that there were 31 girls and 32 boys. Although the disparity is not substantial, it is evident that males surpassed the nine-hour threshold more frequently. There are 2,101 more girls than boys who study and perform math homework. Ultimately, girls dedicate a greater portion of their normal school week to studying or completing math assignments in comparison to boys.

Based on the data provided, the implications for social change could be that there may be a need for interventions or initiatives to encourage male students to allocate more time to studying mathematics or doing homework. This could help address any potential disparities in academic performance between genders. Additionally, it may be beneficial to explore the reasons behind the differences in study habits and time allocation between male and female students, in order to identify any underlying factors that could be addressed to promote more equitable educational opportunities.
