It can be difficult to get parents ready for a differentiated classroom. Many parents become less active in their children's education and the learning process as they become older and move through the grade levels. Student understanding of the material offered is deteriorating
as a result of diminishing parental participation. Homework, which acts as a review of the content given in class, is one technique to improve student comprehension. In the article "Supporting parents to co-produce differentiated learning opportunities in mathematics" (2022), it is discussed how parents can help and promote their children's education by using creative and differentiated homework packages. Parental engagement can benefit children's education and learning through the implementation of diversified and creative homework assignments.
Summary
In order to boost student comprehension when they are at home, homework has frequently been used as a means for students to review the content that was taught in the classroom. Homework is frequently seen as a burden by parents, who rarely get engaged. However, parents can get more involved through recently created homework kits that are creative and customized based on students' needs, talents, and learning styles. The homework packages give parents and kids the chance to work through a number of exercises and games to improve their understanding of mathematical ideas and skills. The homework kits also encourage
parents to communicate with their children's teachers, schools, and other adults. When parents are active, encouraging, and children whose parents are dedicated to their education will have more fulfilling and beneficial educational experiences.

It might be challenging for instructors to recognize a lack of parental involvement. Parents may make all the difference when kids are having trouble finishing their task because they don't understand. According to Daniel et al. (2020), students will have more favorable educational experiences when their parents are more active in their education. Additionally, it is said that parental involvement can help teachers better understand and assist each student. Parental participation through the homework kits will aid in improving students' understanding of mathematics. The homework kits are a brilliant idea to connect school and home, improve comprehension, and involve parents more. The homework kits, however, are expensive to make, need instruction to use properly, and presuppose that each youngster has a parent or guardian who will take part. While the new concept of homework kits offers kids opportunities for learning that are differentiated, the ability to increase parental involvement is of utmost importance.
Personal Application
Proactive communication between parents and teachers establishes an effective partnership when it comes to the student's educational needs (Tomlinson, 2017). A comprehensive grasp of differentiated instruction and how it helps children, according to Tomlinson (2017), "opens the door for you to partner with parents to maximize their children's growth." As a result, talking to parents is important and can boost involvement. As a teacher, Deuteronomy 6:7, which reads, "Impress them on your children," frequently comes to mind. Discuss them when sitting at home, strolling down the street, lying down, and rising (New International Version, 2011). The pupils will be effectively supported both in school and at home
if parents are informed and given opportunities to participate.

While many parents start to relax and hand over part of the child's educational obligations, parental involvement is associated with the student's academic achievement. A way of interaction is required to encourage parental involvement in the differentiated classroom. In order to improve students' understanding of mathematical abilities and concepts, homework kits can be developed and implemented to measure parental engagement. Homework packages enable parents and kids to collaborate on a range of projects and games. Thus, with parental support, pupils will be inspired to deepen their understanding of mathematics concepts and skills.
