Post Lab Grading Rubric: Experimental Uncertainty and Data Analysis 1. Complete the following questions from Uncertainty and Data Analysis Lab on Cengage Questions 2 a through 2 c : Note that the instructions for Data Table 3 are at the bottom of the previous page. Questions 3 a and 3 b . Show calculations. Questions 3 c through g were done in class and do not need to be included. For 3 g, u sing the graph in Fig 2.6B page 20, determine the value of the k to the correct number of sig figs. (Remember that you are finding the slope of the best fit line drawn. So, do not use two data points. Instead use two points along the best fit line shown.) Question 3 h, you will have to use the graph shown in Figure 2.7 page 21 to read off data to create a data table with values for T and m . Then manipulate the data to create a linear plot. Look at the given equation, how does T vary with mass, m ? -- See the document “Creating Graphs and Linearizing data” for help with this as it similar to Example 1 that we did in class. -- include a Table showing values that are used to plot. -- Show the calculation to determine k from the slope. /16 2. Answer Post Lab questions 1 and 2. Answer questions using full sentences. You can answer the questions on a separate page but do not re-write or type the question. /4 Total /20
