PART 4
While working on this report it enhanced on how to input information into tables, create different charts to keep pushing myself to understanding of making sure information is inputted correctly. I saw this project and I thought to myself I think I will be okay with this project seeing that I already have some knowledge of Excel. The knowledge that I learned today will help me in the workplace by using Excel to save data into a spreadsheet. Where I work now, I have to enter the different cameras that get returned by the store and what condition they are in. When I export all this information into my report, I create different charts. My usual is a pie or column chart to give my supervisor a visual of the data that we entered. For example, when Best Buy sent in four pallets with nine hundred and sixty two pieces on it, I had to create two separate tables showing how many of a specific model was returned and the condition of the product when it was returned. After I did the tables I created two pie charts using the information from the tables. Once I was finished, I sent the information to my supervisor
and manager and had them take a look at it. By using Excel inputting the information in
a medical setting will make things easier and more efficient. Also, with Excel it will be easier to access the patients’ records or files in the spreadsheet and save more time for
patient care. Alexis Smith - MATH 101 Report
