Executive Summary
There is no doubt that success is a highly coveted skill in the dynamic world of marketing, and recent research shows that companies allocate more than 20% of their revenue to marketing, which is a significant amount. As a New York City-based company, our company has
excelled in this area, leveraging 21st-century marketing innovations to bring our clients the best results. In order to identify significant factors, we used a multiple linear regression test to evaluate 17 cities by using historical data and analyzing the data in an analytical manner. Using the P-value and the Alpha (0.05) values as a guide, we assessed the importance of each element based on the P-value against the Alpha (0.05).
In our analysis, we were able to identify that the cost of living (P-value = 0.0434) stood out as a significant predictor, surpassing the Alpha threshold in terms of significance. The cost of
a loaf of bread (P-value = 0.0330) and a monthly pass for public transportation (P-value = 0.0030) emerged as significant predictors, providing valuable insight into the descriptive statistics of each city. Based on one important metric, the standardized residuals, it was found that none of the 17 cities had any outliers.
To identify the significant predictors of the study, we focused on the cost of a monthly public transportation pass and the cost of a loaf of bread when analyzing the data. There were eight cities in the 1st quartile, four in the 2nd quartile, and four in the 2nd quartile in the first type, where a mean was $78.01, a median was $74.28, and a Q3 was $105.93, all above the mean. As for the latter, a median of $1.37 was observed, Q1 was $1.04, and Q3 was $1.77, showing similar trends across cities with a mean of $1.47, a median of $1.37, and Q1 was $1.04.
According to these results, London's cost of living index was 11.67% lower than our New
York City baseline; however, its monthly public transportation pass was 43.64% more expensive
than our New York City baseline. It should be noted that Sydney, Dublin, and London were not considered suitable due to the high monthly costs of public transportation passes.
As a result of our evaluation, we have recommended Mumbai as the ideal location for expanding our operations. As a result of Mumbai's cost of living index of 31.74, which is 68.26% cheaper than New York City, and with a monthly public transportation pass at $7.66 and
a loaf of bread at $0.41, Mumbai can be ranked 89.84% cheaper than New York City. The financial flexibility of Mumbai's residents indicates that the city offers a lot of opportunities for your business when it comes to growth. In the event that Mumbai is not the best option for you, our secondary recommendation is Warsaw. With a cost-of-living index of 45.45, it is 54.55% cheaper than New York City, making it 75.79% cheaper when both factors are taken into account. We are grateful that you have placed your trust in our company and have allowed us to assist you in making decisions regarding your expansion.
