Which of your strengths are the most likely to help in the development of marketing activities? The strength that is most likely to help in the development of marketing activities would be high quality product and brand. This strength is essential for the success of this new product. I also think that the pre-existing loyalty is also a big part of the development of marketing activities. Which of your identified opportunities will you pursue first and why? The opportunity that I would pursue first is the opportunity for Apple to make new products within the pet industry. This opens Apple’s product market to multiple new opportunities and potential products. Not only will this product open up new opportunities as far as electronics but also accessories. Which of your threats are you most concerned about? One of the biggest threats that I am most concerned about is the price competition between big pet businesses and their relatively low pricing vs Apple’s relatively high pricing for most of their products. My goal to eliminate this threat is to price the new addition of products into the market at a lower price level to compete with the top competitors in the market. What are the gaps not addressed in the SWOT analysis that you need to be aware of as you move forward in the development of your marketing plan? One of the bigger gaps that is not in the SWOT analysis is a performance gap, this type of gap occurs when you are unable to compare the performance of your brand or product with another product (Peterson, 2019). This gap can be filled once the production and sales of this new product begin. What legal and ethical implications are considered? Ethical implications that need to be considered is the weight and capability of the product around the neck of a pet. Ethically we don’t want to create an uncomfortable product for the pet in any way. A legal implication that needs to be considered is the possibility of current patents and certain specifications of existing products that are very similar to ours. Fortunately, Apple already has a
