Building value with customers is ultimately how they will remain loyal to these certain brands. “Learning how to create value for your customers can have a direct impact on your company's long-term success” (Indeed, 2022). NationaliTeas will be implementing two new initiatives that will help create more value for customers to support our long-term goals. Initiative 1 The first initiative will be to educate consumers more on our brand and product. This initiative will highlight NationaliTea’s growing process, provide insight on the culture in communities the teas come from, as well as ways to create a healthy home and healthy tea- related uses. This initiative adds value to customers by providing a more immersive brand experience that helps their daily lives and provides meaningful information. “70% of consumers are interested in hearing about the social, health, environmental and safety impacts of the products they buy or the company that makes them” (Soomo Learning, 2020). Since so many customers resonate with the information behind the company, it will be beneficial to teach them about our brand. Some benefits that his initiative will bring NationaliTeas is increased brand recognition, as well as increased profits from creating a stronger more loyal customer base. Besides the monetary and metrics benefits, it will also provide NationaliTeas to prove they are following the steps for B Certification. Some resources will be required for this endeavor, such as the use of social media for promotion, the creation of a blog site attached to the brands website, as well as a team to provide the teachings and information to the customer base. The success of the initiative
3 will be monitored by a marketing team that will check the current performance of the company through marketing campaigns compared to before the implementation of the initiative. Initiative 2 The second initiative that NationaliTeas will implement is gaining quality and organic certifications. Gaining quality and organic certifications can prove to customers that the product they are buying is of high quality and is produced organically. “Many people take their health very seriously and so are very deliberate about what they put into their bodies. These customers are far more likely to buy your product if it’s organic” (Wendell, 2022). Customers will benefit from this initiative because it will give them peace of mind knowing that our products are organic and will help them fulfill their health journey. Benefits that will come to the business side will be higher revenue, hold our tea growers more accountable to take more organic farming methods, and allow for the company to continue its goal to be more aware of the health of our customers. These benefits will have long-term effects on the business. We will need quite a few resources to get this initiative started, money will be needed to create new farming practices and equipment to qualify for organic status. We will also need to hire someone who is experienced in the organic industry to help make the change. For product quality, we will need to purchase new equipment that can more accurately check for quality issues. People will also need to be hired to analyze the quality for a live person check, and further staff to collect data on customer satisfaction on quality. We will measure these through customer reviews and sales data to help explore the impact on sales numbers over the course of time.
