Assessment Task 5 Role Play (This is just a guide) What you need to cover and explain during the role play: Explain the purpose of the meeting Discuss about Jackie`s colleague complaints about her and her work performance issue Explain to Jackie what the problem is The staff complained that you are often talking to your friends on your mobile and so when the office phone ring, they have to answer the phone. Even when you can see they are trying to answer queries that directly relate to your work, you do not end your personal calls. This not only takes other staff member’s time in answering such calls, but also then to make notes for you on the call. Outline her work responsibilities (give at least 2) and the need to achieve these Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximise brand promotion. Creating marketing campaigns and working with the company's external PR agency to see them executed. Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company message to their existing customers. Contributing to the annual sales and marketing plan. It will be conducted for the next 1 month weekly. Company also will provide counselling if needed to help her overcome the issue/hard time. Please make it brief and straight to the point. (Each person will be allocated 10 minutes to do this) During the role play it is important that you demonstrate the following: Keeping your communication clear and open Listening to Jackie and confirming and clarifying information shared (complaints from co- workers) Asking questions to confirm information Emphasizing Jackie’s strengths as set out in the scenario information.
