M3.3 Exercise: Group Progress Report II 1. How are you using primary research in your report? How are you using secondary research in your report? a. We will be using the surveys we created this week as our primary research on students who are currently facing affordability issues. Our secondary research will be used for any other evidence that the survey cannot accurately depict. 2. You should have written a survey. a. Who is your target audience for the survey? i. The audience is those facing affordability issues when it comes to on or off-campus or those looking to understand the affordability issue. b. What is the goal of your survey? i. The goal of our survey is to depict how many students are having affordability issues. c. What technology have you used to circulate the survey? i. We have been reaching out to our peers via IMessage and Snapchat. 3. Explain two of your chosen decision criteria (explaining what they are (definitions) and why they are important). a. One of our criteria is sustainability which focuses on a proposed solution to fix our problems. It considers environmental and economic conditions, providing security in those aspects for people who may not have it otherwise. Another of our criteria is cost-effectiveness, meaning how affordable the solution is to the target audience. 4. What’s up next? (List specific actions/tasks scheduled for upcoming completion. For each task, list the date the task is due and who is responsible for the task.) a. Definitely continue to get more people to our survey and continue to search for articles to support evidence. Eventually start working on the introduction of our paper. 5. Any issues? (List specific issues that are slowing the progress of the project.) a. There aren’t any issues that have been noticeable whatsoever. 6. How are you resolving the issue(s)? (List specific actions being taken to resolve any issues and who is responsible for their resolution.) a. As stated in Question Six, there seem to be no problems occurring in our group. A key difference compared to last week. 7. Champ of the week! (Did anyone go above and beyond to achieve this week’s goals? If so, how.) a. Everyone has been putting their work in, but in my opinion, Lucas has been really carrying our group and we are lucky to have him!
