1. How do you think OD can help your present organization or the organization that you work in the past? OD can help my present organization by structuring the process and procedures we all must follow, in each department, to get the job done accurately, and within a proper time. Workers’ Compensation is not difficult to do however, if everyone is able to do it properly, there should be no reason the process is behind, or needing further analyzing to have a plan. 2. Do you plan to advocate for change in your organization? Yes, I am already doing so with restructuring of the Certified Interpreting dept. as well as re-evaluating the accounting dept. and providing the plan to restructure and get it back up to par with the invoicing issues. 3. What specific intervention do you think would do the most to help your organization? Why? I think by incorporating many, we can help our organization become more structured and create a plan that includes each department and each employee in helping all become better and organized. 4. Given the opportunity, do you feel comfortable acting as a low-level internal consultant for conducting organizational development at your present organization? Yes, I have always enjoyed fixing things, organizing, finding ways to improve and make the process as easy as it can be. The further I have experienced, the more I want to take it a step more to become an independent consultant for businesses that are in need of organizing and structuring. 5. If your company hired an external consultant, would you feel more knowledgeable in evaluating their effectiveness and competence? Yes, I have already turned people away by discussing them with the boss lady and letting her know my opinions on the person. You can tell by how someone speaks, what ideas they have, and how they present their plan. 6. Any parting comments or suggestions? None, other than I have enjoyed reading through everyone’s discussion posts and have learned more through them than the text. The text is just words but the feedback from everyone has helped me understand the topics more, research more, and even ways to incorporate in my own life, work and personal, to better what I am and what I want to pursue.
