Key Areas of Focus Getting Federal, State, and Local support for vocational education Lobby for more funding for vocational education. Partner with policymakers to prioritize vocational education policies. Commentary: The federal, state, and local governments become the center stage for the survival of vocational education programs. Supporting wider budget allocations is of paramount importance to meet the provisions that these programs need to implement efficiently and effectively. The creation of partnerships with policymakers is also needed for better policies to be put forward and supported. The policy should favor and support vocational education programs (Chatterjee et al., 2021). The partnerships are the first step towards finding a lasting solution to tackle the skilled labor shortage and contribute to the economic development of both the industries that need skilled workers and the individuals looking for an opportunity to get a meaningful career. IWTP Grant Research IWTP Grant eligibility and application process. Develop a proposal to enhance internal training programs. Commentary: The IWTP Grants Program is one of the key channels through which corporations can obtain support for job skills training. By comprehensive research of the eligibility standards and the process of application, organizations are able to purposefully target this opportunity to get the chance to be funded. It further evidences dedication to employee skill improvement and organizational growth by outlining the comprehensive proposal of how the grant is going to be used to enhance internal training programs (Mustafa et al., 2023). Such a proactive attitude
ensures a high success rate for the applications. It shows the priorities of the organization to close the skill gaps and to move towards a sustainable talent pool that is in line with the aims of industry growth and economic development.
