Hello Andrea
Your post on CERCLA provided plenty of good information on the Act. The Act is
concerned with the cleanup of Hazardous Substance through the Superfund. This money is
offered to finance the cleanup. The more is also used to enforce the laws over the cleanup.

(2023) say the goal is for the polluting people to pay for the expense of
cleaning the air. The EPA intends to get the money expanded back from the people who caused
the cleanup. Through cost recovery, the SuperFund can fund activities up-front. CERCLA is
Federally operated. The Federal agencies must come into compliance with the procedural
requirements of liability. The requirements for these agencies are extensive. The money that is
provided is utilized for the cleanup of hazardous waste. CERCLA sets the responsibility for
organizations that release dangerous materials into the environment.
