I love my job I have been at Barberton Hospital since March. As a general rule, the statute of limitations for a medical malpractice lawsuit in the state of Ohio is for one year. The one-year period starts to run from the date the injury
occurred. I learned that if you aren’t quick and don’t show much evidence you wont get anywhere with anyone because theyre quick to believe the professionals before the patient. Me personally I don’t have a example but my mother got a both her breast removed and it was a botched job and because it was so she sued her surgeon due to him not sewing the muscle the way it needed to be and her implant sitting on her ribs and the liposuction not being done correctly. The doctor was dismissive of her concerns. And she ended up winning the lawsuit because she got sick due to him leaving a gauze inside her during the procedure.
