BTI Inc. decided not to submit an offer/proposal on this effort, what three things could the Government have done to improve competition? Explain why you believe these three things would have improved competition. 2. Which element of Acquisition Planning do you think is the most critical for the Cyber Security Services (CSS) acquisition by the ABC Joint Program Office? Select one and explain why you believe it is the most critical: a. Risks; b. Contract Type; c. Government Furnished Information; d. Capability or Performance; e. Any other acquisition planning element of your choice taken from FAR 7.105 3. After the CSS contract is awarded, what do you think the performance risks are going to be? Choose two and explain why you believe they are relevant performance risks which will need to be monitored. Industry Reflections . Choose one : 1. Were you surprised that BTI decided to “no bid” the CSS opportunity? Why or why not and what could they have done differently in executing the business development lifecycle? 2. Identify 2 specific cost, schedule, or performance risks BTI faced in executing its sales plan and address what BTI could have done to reduce or mitigate those risks. 3. Each reflection response is worth a total of 15 points for an overall total of 30 points. Work displays reflective, analytical analysis, and avoided simplistic descriptions or summarizations of information. Score 0 – 1 points 2 - 3 points 4 - 5 points Focus on the Topic The level of detail presented was insufficient and does not include any specific details from the scenario to demonstrate an understanding of the concepts in the chosen topic. The level of detail presented was sufficient, including 1-2 details from the scenario, to demonstrate an understanding of some of the concepts in the chosen topic. The level of detail presented was exceptional, including 3 or more details from the scenario, to demonstrate an understanding of most of the concepts in the chosen topic. Score 0 – 1 points 2 – 3 points 4 - 5 points Mechanics and Length Hard to read due to the number of mechanical errors. Length does not meet the 200 word minimum.
