What were the biggest challenges on the project and how were they overcome? The biggest challenge of the project was completing the system requirement. This was because I needed
to ensure that the system met the client’s requirements and solved the problem effectively. To overcome this challenge, I reviewed the system requirements for the client to clarify expectations and priorities. Also, I used an iterative approach, continuously gathering feedback and adjusting the requirements as needed. Which of the diagrams did you find most difficult to understand? Which diagrams did you find most helpful?
I found the use case diagram most difficult because I had never interacted with one before. It required additional research to understand the concept and how to properly draw a case diagram for the system. However, once I grasped the concept, it significantly facilitated completing the system requirements. The Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) proved to be extremely helpful as it elucidated how each attribute for the system would interact, particularly since my project required the use of a database to store information.
Review your discussion post from Module One on the role of a systems analyst. How has your understanding changed as we conclude the course? My perception of the systems analyst role hasn't fundamentally changed. I've always had an interest in analytics. However, this course and project allowed me to grasp the full scope of responsibilities associated with the role, as well as the importance of collaboration with other technical personnel.
Would you want to be a systems analyst?
I would love to pursue a career as a systems analyst. I am motivated to research and acquire the necessary skills to excel in this role, as it aligns with my interests and career aspirations.
