This assessment is divided into four tasks: Task 1: Resource Usage Documentation Task 2 Environmental Hazard Checklist Task 3: Environmental Breach Reporting Task 4: Consultation on Improving Sustainability This project requires you to complete the assessment tasks in a real workplace, or in an environment with conditions similar to that of a workplace. Each task comes with a set of instructions. You are to follow and perform these instructions while being observed by the assessor and/or submit any required documentation. Before starting this assessment, your assessor will discuss with you these tasks, including instructions and guidance for satisfactorily completing them. You are required to: Complete the tasks within the time allowed, as scheduled in-class roll. Record and file your current resource usage while conducting work tasks according to BLC policies and procedures. Inspect your simulated work environment to identify any environmental hazards that exist in the workplace. Report environmental breaches in your simulated workplace to your trainer. Resources are the materials and energy that your organisation spends to conduct work tasks effectively. These include the following: Water Electricity Paper Resource usage refers to the amount of resources you spend at a specific amount of time while conducting work tasks. Use your workplace/organisation’s template in documenting resource usage to complete this task. To complete this task, you must: Review your organisation’s policies and procedures with information on the following: o Measuring and recording current resource usage while conducting work tasks.
