Damon Terry II 12/04/2023 Closing/Updating Tickets Ticket 0005198 that was created and reported by Jacob was a very interesting ticket that I’ve seen on MantisBT. The reason this ticket got my attrition is because it was reported countless times, and it gave me the thought that this ticket had to be something legit. I took a pound myself to dig and look more into this ticket to see if I could find anything else to add. The IP address associated with this ticket had a fraud risk score of 69 witch places in the medium high threat zone. When I looked up the IP on AbuseIPDB the confidence of Abuse was 100%. I found that intriguing because this seems like an urgent event. This ticket was able to catch the right persons eyes and they was able to get the IP blocked.

Ticket 0005190 created by Inamullah was another interesting ticket because it relates to Jacobs’s ticket and had a very high threat risk on AbuseIPDB. What I was really insighted by is when I inserted the IP address into scamalytics it said that it was a low-risk fraud detection. Scamalytics states that “operated by Limenet whose web traffic we consider presenting a potentially low fraud risk” AbueslPDB seems to not agree with that. So, I investigated other IP tools that was given to us to use and virustotal stated that I had four venders of its own who flagged the IP address and AbuseIPDB stated that it was reported 166 times with a 100% threat risk.
