If needed, modify the activity according to the IEP goals or needs. Have paraprofessionals utilize assistive tools or manipulatives to support students with needs. o
Allow additional time or decrease number of cascading tasks for student to feel like he/she finished within the allotted time frame. ·

English learner may have difficulty spelling using phonemes. An anchor chart of letter name to letter sound should be provided. Student can use the anchor chart to sing the letter sounds. o
English learner may have difficulty understand English direction; verbal direction should be supplemented with visual, numbers, or gestures. o
