Site Details and Challenges (Summary) To properly configure the topology for the Boston site it is necessary to select a routing protocol that is going to allow you properly to configure the networking interfaces on the router. When selecting the routing protocol, it is important to research the strengths and weaknesses of each, to make sure that you find the best protocol for your network. Summarization is another important aspect of consolidating multiple routes. Site Solution and Technologies When configuring your network, it is important to make sure you have the proper routers and switches in place. Cabling is an important aspect in any network. Physical components, or the hardware of the network must be set up properly and configured, to communicate across the network. After installations of all hardware and software configurations, it is important to test the connections, and run the correct commands to ensure that devices are speaking to each other or to locate issues within the communications and correct them. Physical aspects of a network may include cabling, domain controllers, file servers workstations, routers, printers, and switches.
