Report
ule-based access control (RBAC) is a type of access control system that uses predefined rules to grant or deny access to resources. These rules are typically based on factors such as the user's identity, role, and the time of day. RBAC does not have the concept of a resource owner, meaning that resource owners cannot directly control who has access to their resources. Instead, access is controlled by the rules that have been defined by the system administrator. NTFS, MAC, and DAC are all types of discretionary access control (DAC) systems. DAC systems allow resource owners to control who has access to their resources. This means that resource owners can grant or deny access to individual users or groups of users.
