Hello,
My name is Sean. I am completing my master’s in cyber security. I am a father of two wonderful children, and I enjoy a great movie. While in the graduate program I would have to say the infosec labs where interesting along with the different types of exploration that was provided while in them. The exercises helped when on the job as well as being familiar with certain material that was located on the certification that I was obtaining. This also helped with on-the-job training that aided me with the ability to engage with other professionals in topics that may have been more difficult
without the exposer.
With my previous job I had an opportunity to gain experience as a business
continuity program manager. With this role I had an opportunity to help with finding a location for an offsite location that would help when a disaster would occur. This allowed me to not only visit the sites, but also speak with other managers and provide my thoughts on the subject matter. This experience allowed me to demonstrate that I could think critically about multiple situations to solve a need if something occurred. I also expressed that I was a good team player with connecting with everyone to not only engage, but also bring together with combining ideas to come to a proper conclusion.
