Identify and describe two documents that can be used to initiate projects. Project Initiation Document : The project initiation stage is the initial stage of project activities since a project has been agreed to work on. At this stage, the problem to be resolved will be identified. Several solution options to solve the problem are also defined. In this document, all global pictures of the target activities are identified and structured. Project Planning: A set of activities in which a person / institution defines an ideal state (improvement, goal), devises a strategy to achieve it, and develops tools to assess the achievement of that strategy. Project objectives and scope are contained in the project planning including timeframe and scheduled activities as well as budget required to complete the project. 2. Explain two methods that can be used to measure project outcomes and progress and provide examples to illustrate each.
