the importance of the 405 freeway and because any delays with the project can lead to long-
term effects.

period and could cause more time and delays for the public.

The public may need to alter their plans and stay home or take alternate routes to get to their
destinations. People living in the detour areas may experience high traffic, more noise, and
possibly accidents in their neighborhoods.

I think that an opportunity that might have been realized in this project would be finding a way to
reduce traffic emissions by adding an eco lane for eco-friendly cars.
