The computer I am currently working on is a Digital Storm laptop. It runs Windows 10 Home & has a 64-bit windows OS. Being able to identify the OS on your computer is important as it is the software that speaks to the hardware in order for your computer to function. Think of popcorn, you need heat & the kernel of corn. The heat being the OS & the kernel being the hardware, with out an OS the computer cannot function.
This system has 32GB of RAM, ensuring you have enough RAM will allow your system to pull data you need. It will highly enhance of decrease the performance of the system depending on how much is available on the device. Take the kernel of corn for instance, the heat will pop that kernel & the temperature of that heat A.K.A the RAM will determine how quickly that kernel will pop. It’s likely to have a slower computer the lower the RAM is installed on the computer.
The processor speed on this Digital Storm laptop is 2.30GHz. The processor will work with the RAM in unison in order to pull you data or complete commands. This all determines how fast your computer can intake and output information. The higher the GHZ the faster we go and the lower the GHz the slower we go.
My recommendation to my supervisors order to upgrade the customers service departments computers would be moving from Windows 10 to Windows 11 . In order to upgrade the systems software we will, ensure to back up all data over the cloud in order to preserve any work for each of the employees, once backups are completed the upgrade will commence. In order to go the update we will need to go to Settings, click on System, at the bottom of the menu we will click About. Once in the about
section, at the bottom will be an option to update the edition of Windows, once there we will select the change product key option in order to enter the product key we have acquired with the purchase of the new software.
