TBWC project requirements.

1. Introduction
A short introductory paragraph with an overview of your major roles on the team and a summary of the
approach your team took to meeting and to assigning tasks
The TBWC project has been very fun so far, and I believe this is mainly because our group is doing great
in terms of work distribution and team work. We are dividing the work equally without just putting so
much pressure on some group members and let them do the work for everyone. A couple of days after
we were giving the instructions about this project, we had our first meeting which was 4 hours long. In
that meeting we started planning everything for the project, which also included assigning tasks. I chose
to be the one in charge of Solid Works, and 3D designed part. Until now, I have designed our first 3D
printed part (which is a flagpole for our beautiful Portuguese flag). Moreover, I 3D designed the battery
pack for our Exploded view, and I was also helping all the other group members when they struggled
with Solid Works. To add on, since I love brainstorming, I was the one who came up with many ideas
such as, the shooting system, the top floor of the car, and the 3D printed parts. Also, even though we all
had our own tasks to do, we all still helped each other with some too. So, I also helped with designing
the car and the circuit, because we had a meeting after the lab 2 weeks ago and we all worked on the car
design and circuit. For the meetings, we made sure that we meet at least twice a week for 4-5 hours, and
before we leave the meeting we plan our next one so did well in terms of that.
2. Reflection and Discussion
Complete the table below to identify the details of your contributions to the project to date and how
they fit into the design process or are considered as additional contributions. Guidelines for your entries
are listed below. Refer to the document “
ENGG*1100 F22
Prototype Report Rubric – Individual
” on
CourseLink for further guidance.
Write 1-3 sentences in each box for each phase of the design process you contributed to.
Note:
you likely won’t have contributed to each phase, or every aspect.
The design process phases are: Needs assessment, synthesis, design analysis, implementation
and prototyping, testing and validation, recommendations.
Be sure to reference your Logbook
as evidence of your contribution.
Be sure to provide a proper descriptive title for the table

My Contribution to The TBWC Project
Project Aspect
Design Project Phase and Contribution.
Subsystem 1 – Rolling Chassis
E.g.:
Design analysis:
I calculated the center of mass for the
components, and performed the tipping calculation (Logbook
entry “Tipping calculations – Nov. 12”)
Testing and validation
: I wrote and did troubleshooting on the
Arduino code that controlled the Ultrasonic sensor to detect
when to reverse the motors.
Subsystem 2 – Launching
Mechanism
Over the past weeks, I was the one who came up with the idea of
the shooting system with my other group member (Quintin), and
then after that he was the one who developed it and I made sure
it was working every time we changed something.
3D Printed Part
So, I was the one who came up with the idea for the 3D printed
parts. I also printed one of them already, which is a flagpole for
our flag. I also contributed to designing some 3D parts in Solid
Works for the Exploded view.

Team Contract Document
I made sure that I have read, agreed, and signed the Team
Contract.
Additional Contributions
These are additional team contributions that do not necessarily
fit within the listed project aspects, or phases of the design
process. (E.g., team development, project management, etc.)
