Kyle Carriker November 7, 2023 ABE 224 Lab 3: Elevation map of the African Horn Objectives The purpose of this lab is to use the ArcGIS software to develop of Map of the horn of Africa that has the topographical information displayed. We will use an array of colors in order to display the changes in elevation. Materials and Methods In this lab we used the ArcGIS software and the Citrix Workspace in order to access the computers in ABE 220. We were then able to use the ArcGIS software to develop the required map of the horn of Africa. In order to complete this map we were given the topographical info that was relevant along with a map of the horn of Africa. We then used this data to compile an elevation map of the data. We then used this elevation map and changed the colors in order to make the requested topographical map. We then exported this map to the home computer and the lab was completed. Results
