Introduction – Primary Goal Susie Stapleton has gone missing for three (3) days. The purpose of this forensic report is gathering evidence that may provide some information about the whereabouts of Ms. Stapleton during the three (3) days in question. The information that was provided to this forensic investigator was Ms. Stapleton’s hard drive to review and analysis. The investigator is unaware of how the hard drive was obtained but was provided to this investigator by the police department. Summary of Findings Susie Stapleton Investigation 5 In reviewing the information provided to the investigator to include Ms. Stapletons hard drive, the following pages will include: 1. Eight (8) photos of the Las Vegas area during the dates in question. These files were found on Ms. Stapletons user profile. Exhibit 1-8 2. During a keyword search an array of websites that appear to be on the topic of Las Vegas. Exhibit 9 3. Possible email addresses connected with Las Vegas. While the emails were not readable the search does indicate possible connection to Las Vegas in the text. Exhibit 10 4. A copy of the Autopsy Forensic Report. Exhibit 11 5. Final Conclusions Susie Stapleton has gone missing for three (3) days. Based on the forensic examination of the hard drive provided by the police department, there appears to be a total of eight (8) photos for the Las Vegas area from the dates surrounding the disappearance on 1/8. These pictures are shown on Exhibit one (1) through eight (8). Additionally, after doing a keyword search there does seem to be some evidence that searches on the Las Vegas area were done in or around the 12/5 timeframe. This being just one (1) month prior to the disappearance and the pictures showing up on the hard drive. It is this Investigators conclusion that Ms. Susie Stapleton was in fact in the Las Vegas area during the three (3) days that she was missing. While there is no specific crime that appears to have occurred and the suspected victim is now home with her family, the disappearance is odd. The police may want to further investigate the family. The final recommendation would be that the family seek counseling. This may provide additional insight into the three (3) day disappearance and additionally, assist with finding tools that may help the family better communicating their needs to each other, prior to any travel.
