You do not need to re-type the question in your response : 1. What were some interesting things that you learned about child development from working on this project or from listening to other group’s presentations? 2. In regards to the project, what do you feel that you did really well? Why? 3. In regards to the project, what do you think you could have improved upon? Why? Refrain from giving generic answers. Responses will be graded based upon giving responses that have substance and are well thought out. Once you have completed the reflection, self-evaluation (on page 3), and peer-evaluation (on page 4) (all found in this document), please submit on Canvas as a Word Document.
Some interesting thing that I learned from child development from doing this project that how much a toy could help a child in their three domains (Physical, Cognitive, Psychosocial Development). I also learned that the changes that children go through as they get older are described by child development. Children develop their knowledge, abilities, and behavior along with their physical growth. In a child's development, parents and other adults—like grandparents and daycare providers—play crucial roles. When seeing the group present their toy it came to me how important it is that the inventor of a child's toy is important and you do have to put alot of thought into it, because, at the end of the day, a toy is so important in a child life with helping them develop. Regarding our project, I feel that it was very well done, it did have alot of other objects that could help the child to develop thor three domains such as the zipper, the cart itself, the ball thrown, etc. With presenting our toy I feel like we did a really good job because we did a poster board and a power point where it could convince the client or our classmates that why they should buy our toy. We felt like we were prepared with our toy and confident because of any questions the students had we had the answer right away. Plus I had an amazing partner with energy and confidence what most of the students liked was that she was all about selling our toy. What I felt that I could improve on personally was the way I presented. For example, I know the information and the toy that I am supposed to represent but being nervous and having everyone around me gets me scared and that makes me blank out, so with that, that's what I was scared of and could keep up. I also felt that we could improve on knowing who is going to talk next and when is our part to talk. Overall, I think our group did a really could job in building our toy and also presenting it.
Self-Evaluation Using a scale of 1 to 5 ( 1 = very unhelpful ; 5 = very helpful ) and whole numbers only (i.e., no 0.5 ratings), rate your overall contribution to the group project. Underneath your rating, provide comments that explain your rating. Make sure to provide specific details on what you contributed to the project . Rating: ____5______ Explanation: I feel that I deserve a 5 because I was the one that got the information and helped out to get the stuff for our toy and if my partner had any questions i was always right away to answer
