Impact of the case:
The impact of the case was that every person that is arrested in the US must be informed of
their Consituatinal rights, especially the 5

and 6
th
amendments. Upon arrest, each officer in
the US must read a citation called “The Miranda Rights.” If these rights are not read to an
offender, the case can be dismissed against the suspect (
