The Artifact Project Dear Dairy The Canadian Assembly decided to build a railroad for expansion to the west, join military forces against a US invasion, and anglophones, first nations, francophones, and will control railroading guided areas. The Canadian government (anglophones) will have control over resources on a federal level, francophones will have ownership of provincial resources, education, languages, and railroads within Quebec, and first nations will own the land. The decision to build a railroad was made in order to facilitate the expansion of Canadian territory to the west. The railroad would provide a means of transportation for people and goods, and would also help to connect the different parts of the country. The Assembly decided that the railway should be built by the Canadian government, and that it should be constructed in such a way that it would be able to withstand an attack from the United States. The decision to join military forces against the United States was made in order to protect Canadian interests from American aggression. The Assembly felt that it was necessary to have a strong military presence in order to deter the United States from attacking Canada. The Canadian government also felt that it was important to have a strong military force in order to protect the country from internal threats, such as the Fenian raids. The decision to allow anglophones, first nations, francophones, and will control railroading guided areas was made in order to ensure that all of the different groups within the Canadian population would have a say in the management of the railway. The Assembly felt that it was important to have a system in place that would allow for the participation of all of the different groups in the country. The decision to allow the Canadian government to have control over resources on a federal level was made in order to ensure that the country would be able to properly defend itself in case of an attack. The Assembly felt that it was important to have a centralised government in order to make sure that the country was able to effectively coordinate its resources. The decision to allow francophones to have ownership of provincial resources, education, languages, and railroads within Quebec was made in order to ensure that the Quebecois would have a certain degree of control over their own affairs. The Assembly felt that it was important to allow the Quebecois to have a certain degree of autonomy in order to keep them happy and to prevent them from seceding from the country. The decision to allow first nations to own the land was made in order to ensure that the indigenous people of the country would have a certain degree of control over their own affairs. The Assembly felt that it was important to allow the first nations to have a certain degree of autonomy in order to keep them happy and to prevent them from being forced off of their land.
Mirrored Op-Ed The Canadian Assembly decided to build a railroad for expansion to the west, join military forces against a US invasion, and anglophones, first nations, francophones, and will control railroading guided areas. This decision was made in order to give each group a certain degree of control over their own resources. In my opinion, the Canadian government's decision to allow anglophones, first nations, francophones, and control railroading guided areas was the correct one. I feel that it is important for first nations to have ownership of the land in order to protect their way of life. However, since this decision was made by the Assembly, it is possible that it might not have been the best option. The Assembly determined that anglophones would be able to use railways in order to expand their territory, and thus leave them with control over some resources. Since the nineteenth century, Canadian nationalism has been a powerful political force, primarily aimed at advancing the country's independence. The railroad I built for westward expansion is a symbol of togetherness that connects Canada from sea to sea. It will facilitate large-scale immigration, which has aided the establishment of towns and cities as well as the Canadian economy. Increased passenger train travel and significantly increased freight transit capacity, allowing for more trade. Remote areas might now be inhabited, and their natural riches tapped. In Canadian communities, railways created jobs. The railway network grew in size after it was built. In order to promote nationalism, every available means will be used to entice immigrants to the mentioned artifact: nicely arranged train station gardens to meet new arrivals and provide the image of bountiful plains. The railway company looked after the gardens, and station employees and their families were urged to help. To look after the larger grounds, professional gardeners were engaged. The railway has been praised by poets, musicians, politicians, historians, and writers as one of the country's finest
achievements. The transcontinental railway was, indeed, a great achievement: its management, engineers, and labourers overcame incredible hurdles to lay the iron track across almost impenetrable bogs and woodlands, vast prairies, and virtually insurmountable mountains.
