New Student Orientation (NSO) play a critical role in many institutions of higher education, especially on the community college level as it prepares community college students to transfer to four-year colleges within their second year (Chan, 2019). The sole purpose of having a community college start is to help prepare those that are not fully prepared. Community colleges want to help their students to become more self-sufficient when it comes to them developing their goals and finding their way and making NSO mandatory for incoming new students is important (Jenkins et al., 2020). How are the results of these two articles different? Write two sentences containing at least one in- text citation in each sentence that demonstrates the synthesis of the two articles. Creating articulation agreements with four-year institutions can help community colleges development a trusting relationship with those students who chooses to transfer but are afraid that they are wasting time attending that institution (Jenkins et al., 2020). It is at the trust of their academic advisor to give them that guidance during NSO.
