Recommendation:
Hello Ronald,
I recommend in best practice is to evaluate, identify, and then review. I would recommend that we start with evaluating the revenue
cycle. To evaluate, I recommend stating
with assessing the revenue cycle of Bright Road Health Care. In reviewing the processes and
systems that are in place for capturing patient charges and submission of claims to the insurance companies, and collection of
payments. This will be followed up by identifying any types of bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the revenue cycle/s that may be
impacting the organizations financial health. Optimized billing and coding practices will ensure that Bright Road Health Care is utilizing
up-to-date and accurate coding practices to maximize their reimbursements from the insurance companies.
The last step will be to
review the billing practices, which will identify any areas in need of improvement, such as optimizing reimbursement rates and reducing
claim denials. The, streamline the operational costs by conducting a thorough analysis of the operational costs. Also, identify the areas
where the expenses could be reduced without compromising the quality of patient care. Some of these steps may require negotiation
of better contracts with optimizing staff levels and vendors.
