I am 34 years old, married with 5 children (3 girls and 2 boys. ages 14-5) and 3 Bullys
dogs. I currently live in IL and I am a stay at home mom. I enjoy cooking and spending
time with my family and making memories I am looking to get more knowledge in
Medical billing and coding. The statute of limitations in my state is 2 years from the date
that the patient discovered or should have discovered the injury but some exceptions
are applied to extend the time period. I feel that there should be no statute of limitations
on med malpratice, unforseen circumstances happen and that may be when you
discover somethings done wrong or happened incorrectly. You may have a surgery and
everything may seem okay in the beginning but all of the sudden your back feeling the
same way, as before. Someone should be held accountable.
