JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments and
procedures, processing patient billing, processing medical insurance claims, recording
patient medical histories, and keeping track of inventory supplies.
If you want to succeed as a hospital secretary, you need to pay meticulous attention
to detail and possess excellent knowledge of medical terminology and billing
procedures. Ultimately, the ideal hospital secretary is an organized and driven
individual with a knack for patient care and administration.
Responsibilities
Answering incoming phone calls and emails and communicating with accuracy.
Providing administrative assistance to patients.
Organizing and scheduling medical appointments.
Keeping records of a patient's personal information, medical history, and insurance
details.
