Overview
In this assignment we explore the basics of groundwater hydrology. We will examine the concepts of porosity, hydraulic conductivity, hydraulic gradient, and Darcy’s Law, among others. The assignment also acquaints you with analysis of the subsurface using geological cross-sections. The final part of the assignment examines ground subsidence related to the abstraction of groundwater.
