Find a Weather and Climate-related image (from somewhere other than the Geog 1401 Instagram, my lectures, or the textbook) that covers any topic or concept from the units in class. Copy and paste the image below.

Write a 2-3 sentence caption to help future Weather and Climate students understand the image you chose if it is used for the Geog 1401 Instagram page in the future. This image captures multiple lightning strikes during a nighttime thunderstorm, showcasing the dramatic and powerful electrical activity within a storm system. Other possible lightning paths based on charge distribution are also evident. Not all lightning strikes are cloud to ground. Fact: Most of the people struck by lightning are hit when it is NOT raining, and more than half of all lightning deaths occur after the storm has passed.
