PRESENTER NOTES •
In today’s society being a educator has become very hard. As an educator it is our job to keep the students focused, educated, and motivated to learn. Remember as a teacher it will not always be easy, but it is well worth it providing the necessary resources and education that your students will need to prosper in life. When incorporating social interaction, technology, society and culture into the classroom this will provide a more positive learning environment for the students.
EXAMPLE 1 TECHNOLOGY •
What would you do as an educator for students who can not access internet at home?
As an educator I would provide assignments that will not require internet accessibility, and if i do I would provide the proper resources such as printing out articles, or any information that will be useful to the students. I will provide time for the students to use the school resources and to find ways for the student to be able to complete the assignment correctly.
EXAMPLE 2 SOCIAL INTERACTIONS
•
As an educator to promote social interaction in the classroom I would do many group activities in the classroom to enhance the student’s social skills. Example: for a subject I would put the students in a group and I would have them put a skit together and act it out in the class to build social skills and self-
esteem.
