Lab 3 Self Assessment 1. How effectively do you feel your team worked collaboratively towards the goals of the project? I think that we worked collaboratively towards the goals of the project. We worked together to effectively set up and execute the conditions that we wanted to test. We each took part in collecting data in different roles, such as changing the conditions of the experiment or recording the data. We also both communicated effectively when organizing our data and presenting our results in our interview, which we contributed to and split up evenly. 2. Please describe, briefly, a couple of specific ways you contributed to the work. While collecting data, I suggested different points to test for voltages that would allow us to have a more complete understanding of the e-fields/equipotential lines on the resistance paper and recorded our results for analysis later in the spreadsheet. I also made suggestions on how to represent our error range for the electric field in order to consider two different error ranges together (voltage and distance measurement errors). I contributed to interviews when setting up our graphs/data and presenting how we approached our experiment and our understanding of the results of the experiment. I made sure to include specific details about our data such as explaining the reasoning in our choices (choices for linearizing a relationship), especially when we were not sure about our approach. 3. Do you feel you contributed as much as the other team members? Less? More? Yes, I feel that I contributed as much as the other team members. We both contributed equally to executing our experiment to answer the Lab 3 questions and both worked on presenting our findings in the interview. 4. If you or your team encountered any challenges in working together, please describe them. If you have other comments, please share them. I think that we worked well together. I don’t think that we encountered any challenges or have other comments.
