Yassin Tolba ECON 311 The Impact of COVID-19 on the Housing Market Markets and economies all around the world have suffered greatly as a result of COVID-19. While other markets have found it difficult to compete in a socially isolating atmosphere, some have been able to develop tremendously to accommodate new customer tastes and preferences. In this essay, we'll talk about the housing market and how various changes to the global economy have impacted it. This paper will explore market patterns and forecasts in an effort to have a better picture of where the housing market was in 2021 and the following years. In order to examine key rules that had an impact on the market, we will also contrast and compare the housing market of 2021 with the 2008 housing market disaster. Research Questions: 1. What is the risk of the housing bubble bursting? 2. How did COVID 19 impact the housing market? 3. What causes high price in houses in 2022? 4. If a recession happens, would it be like 2008? 5. How has Covid affected home buyers and home sellers?
