Reasons and Evidence: -Over the last year, food insecurity forced many Canadians to reduce or forgo meals. -More people using the healthcare system means more medical expenses and an unneeded stress on our public system. -Despite research on food insecurity, governments have not been able to permanently alter their income policies. 3.
