LAB LEARNING EVENT 2 Abstract To provide a more in-depth explanation and elaboration of the stages required in the preparation of a learning event for a laboratory environment, we can start by examining the necessity of holding the event. To protect one's workforce and one's resources, one must comply with all applicable federal requirements. When comparing the present state of performance to the intended state of performance, the knowledge gap and the necessity for workers to be informed of the applicable safety rules and regulations should be prioritized when determining the current and desired state of performance. It is essential to formulate terminal learning objectives that center on the three tiers of Bloom's Taxonomy, namely knowledge, application, and analysis. To guarantee that one has a complete comprehension of the education process, goals ought to be written in an ABCD structure. After the goals have been established, collecting the necessary information is necessary to close the performance/knowledge gap. This approach involves the use of educational and training materials that outline the applicable safety rules and provide examples of safe work practices.
LAB LEARNING EVENT 3 ZYX Corporation Learning Event The need for a learning event in this laboratory setting is to ensure that all staff adhere to any relevant health and safety regulations, as set out by the relevant federal government. The current state of performance is that not all staff are conscious of the safety protocols and regulations that need to be adhered to in the laboratory, thus potentially putting personnel and equipment at risk. The desired state of performance is for all staff to be aware of, and be fully compliant with, any health and safety regulations. Cause of the Gap The cause of the performance/knowledge gap is due to a lack of knowledge concerning the relevant regulations and protocols. This approach involves the use of educational and training materials that outline the applicable safety rules and provide examples of safe work practices (Shabatura, J., 2022). Objectives Knowledge Objective - By the end of the training, participants will know the safety regulations that apply to the laboratory setting. Application Objective - By the end of the training, participants will be able to apply the safety

LAB LEARNING EVENT 4 regulations to their day-to-day work in the laboratory setting. Analytical Objective - By the end of the training, participants will analyze any new safety regulations and protocols and evaluate their effectiveness in the laboratory setting. Next Step After determining the need for learning and the goals, the next step is to suggest a solution for a training intervention. In this situation, it would be appropriate to participate in a training session that lasted only one day because it would be able to give thorough coverage of the applicable health and safety laws. To ensure that all attendees can achieve the highest possible level of comprehension of the information being presented, the event may include interactive activities, demonstrations, and lectures (Ragin, S., 2016).
LAB LEARNING EVENT 5 Conclusion The method used to deliver the training intervention will be a combination of lectures, interactive activities, and demonstrations. Lectures will be used to discuss the relevant regulations and their importance in the laboratory setting. Interactive activities and demonstrations will be used to ensure participants understand and can apply the relevant safety protocols in their day-to-day work (Haff, G.G, et al, 2008). In the end, the process of arranging a learning event includes taking into consideration the need for learning, the federal rules that must be satisfied, and the learning styles of the participants in the event. Facilitators of learning events can guarantee that the training events they host are successful and effective by adhering to the stages stated in the HPT model. This will allow them to achieve the outcomes they want from the events.

LAB LEARNING EVENT 7 Footnotes 1 [Add footnotes, if any, on their own page following references. For APA formatting requirements, it’s easy to just type your own footnote references and notes. To format a footnote reference, select the number and then apply the Footnote Reference. The body of a footnote, such as this example, uses the Normal text style. (Note: If you delete this sample footnote, don’t forget to delete its in-text reference as well.) ]

Start a new page for each table, include a table number and table title for each, as shown on this page. All explanatory text appears in a table note that follows the table, such as this one. Use the Table/Figure style to get the spacing between table and note. Tables in APA format can use single or 1.5 line spacing. Include a heading for every row and column, even if the content seems obvious. To insert a table, on the Insert tab, tap Table. New tables that you create in this document use APA format by default.]
LAB LEARNING EVENT 9 Figures Figure 1 . [Include all figures in their own section, following references (and footnotes and tables, if applicable). Include a numbered caption for each figure. Use the Table/Figure style for easy spacing between figure and caption.] For more information about all elements of APA formatting, please consult the APA Style Manual, 6th Edition .
