WK8: Final project Computer Literacy is the skill and knowledge of someone’s ability to use a computer and the system of its structure. People are taught the basics operations of a computer and the structure when first usually introduced. Theres usually always a basic level-expert level area where people are a part of. An algorithm is sort of a task management that sets specific task. An algorithm is sort of a sequence of steps for a computer application to accomplish a task. This word has taken on a special significance in computer science, where "algorithm" has come to refer to a method that can be used by a computer for the solution of a problem. Some wonderful technology that has contributed to the growth of the Internet and the World Wide Web are tons of stuff that will be talked about. A great example would be Wi-Fi as know as wireless connection. It allows various devices to connect to the internet. The technology of the Wi-fi is advancing every day and it shows further connections improving. The Systems Development Life Cycle has various process which is shown in the image above. It contains 6 steps which lead to software development.
Security problems dealing with the internet has become a real threat that almost every American has experienced. Now more than ever people have been defrauded and taking advantage over the internet. Businesses have been targeted over the years and many of them have lost millions of dollars because they were hacked and unable to protect their cyber security. Unsecured networks and weak passwords make it easy for black hats (Bad Hackers) to gain access to sensitive information. C o m p u t e r Central Processing Unit Monitor Keyboard Mouse Motherboard Random Access Memory Hard Drive a Human-computer interaction software, that can be connected to the Network Application Ensures that all data is in a presentable format and where all data is encrypted Presentation Layer Is the one that maintains connections and is the responsible for controlling port and all sessions. Session Layer Is the one in charge to transport data using transmission protcols including TCP and UDP Transport Layer Is the one in charge of the network and decides the physical path the data will take Network Layer It defines the format of data on the network Data Link Layer Is the physical part of the connection and is responsible for the actual connection for the network nodes.
